sorry fior multiple post, was receiving error messages
Really annoyed with Intel right now! I keep getting the dreaded Memory beep error. I can't even turn off my PC without having to remove and reinsert the RAM...I can reboot, but if I shut it down and turn it back on every single time I will have to open the PC and go through that crap each time. I tried two different brands of high quality RAM & it's still the same.
It's frustrating because I used to love Intel boards they were rock solid. Now with this board its useless after updating to the latest BIOS...I have not been able to produce any music for months I an so frustrated with the board, Contacted support and but they weren't able to help, so I am thinking I will just buy another board and I seriously doubt its going to be Intel ever again. How they continue to get away with selling this motherboard when it's like this is beyond me...
Hi, both my Asus barebones are crashing when running the Windows 7 Performance index. One has an I5, the other one an I3, both with HD4000 and the latest graphics Drivers- The crashing issues stops when I use the windiws Standard graphics Driver. What to do?

I am running the win 7 install dvd from an ide dvd drive and have tried several f6 drivers from both a floppy drive and serveral of the usb ports. Each time it finds the ich10r raid and says installing only to give the fail message several min later "no new devices can be found..."
Exactly how would I install the win 7 disk a different way
Your issue obviously has nothing to do with a wrong or missing RAID driver, but with a corrupted installer resp. installation medium (your Win7 DVD).
The best way to solve it is to search for an untouched original Win7 ISO file, create a bootable USB flash drive by using a tool like the Microsoft "Win7 USB-DVD Tool" and boot off this Win7 installation medium. It is safer and the installation will be faster than with any Win7 DVD.
EDIT:
By the way: For your ICH10R RAID system I recommend to use the Intel RST driver v11.2.0.1006 WHQL.

Hi everone
Thanks for the help, I found the problem
I swaped the ide dvd drive, and worked perfectly. The only difference between them, the first has the jumper on cable select, and the one that worked has it on slave.

Hi all,
I would like to have your opinion on the temperature of my Intel 525 Series 240GB.
When i run a copy from the SSD to an hard drive disk, The temperature of the SSD rises to 93°C.
The SSD is in a Clevo W230ST.
Thanks in advance for your opinion.
Best regards.
Today I looked at list of motherboards with vt-d support here: Desktop Boards — Compatibility with Intel Virtualization Technology (Intel VT) and I was suprised some changes in the list. This page has changed 13.August and in vt-d section is magically appear board DZ87KLT-75K. Somebody confirm is this correct information that this board really support vt-d (direted i/o)?
Bluetooth working great since installing 16.1.3.1 Both Bluetooth and 5g are working great. AC speeds @ 866.7 don't use 2.4g so cannot comment on it.
Hello BlueKat,
Based on your problem description, it can be possible that the Intel AppUp(R) center client might be corrupted hence the error message with the Intel(R) service manage process.
The Intel(R) Service Manager process is in charge to download and run the applications of the Intel AppUp(R) center.
In order to fix your problem, please try the follow troubleshooting steps:
1. Go to Windows* control panel
2. Select programs and features and remove the Intel AppUp(R) center
3. Restart your computer in order to remove any remaining files
4 Install the latest version of the Intel AppUp(R) center, you can get it here
http://downloadmirror.intel.com/22976/eng/IntelAppUpcenter-windows-installer-3266.exe
5. Finally launch the Intel AppUp(R) center and login to your account.
In case you need more assistance or if you have more questions do not hesitate in contact us back.

It is confirmed; all acknowledged writes will be properly written to the SSD.
What you need to manage your Intel C600 Series Chipset RAID array from within Windows is the complete package of the Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology "Enterprise Edition". It contains the Intel RSTe Software and the RSTe drivers.
You can download the RSTe package v3.6.0.1093 from this Intel Download Center page: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3449&DwnldID=22502&keyword=Intel+Rapid+Storage+Technology+enterprise+(Intel+RSTe)&lang=eng
The on top download link is for the multilingual version, the second for the simply English version of the packet. The third link will give you just the drivers (without the RSTe Software).
Jonathan,
There are not settings within the graphic control panel, to change the color deep. That feature is available by default.
There is an option for color depth on the Intel HD graphics control panel, which allows you to choose between 16 bit and 32bit. The onboard graphics controller you have, does not support color depth beyond 32 bits.

We have been experiencing the same problem with our Dell Latitude 6530 and 6430 laptops, as well as our Lenovo T530 laptops. Both laptops have Intel hardware. The laptops appear to be functioning perfectly, despite the error message. We tried reinstalling the OS, drivers, etc., but the error continues to show up. I have noticed, however, that it does occasionally disappear, although I'm not sure why.
I was able to replicate the issue using the same motherboard and processor. I used Corsair memory, but instead of using a server Ethernet adapter, I used a desktop adapter and it was recognized without a problem.
So once again, this behavior could be related to compatibility.
Regards.
This issue is mostly related to the operating system configuration.
It is a good suggestion to check the "Enable write caching on the disk" and "Turn off Windows write-cache buffer flushing on the device" option on Policies tab in the RAID volume properties (Device Manager > Disk Drives).

Thanks Thom and Merudo,
I also replaced my 2230 for the Intel Centrino N-6235 in our new Dell 17R. Everything works fine.
It was the first time I opened a laptop so I found it a bit tricky. After watching some YouTube movies I tried it. The wifi card is below the keyboard. I removed all screws from the back, also in the battery compartment and behind the lid. Just not the harddisk screws. Then I carefully lifted the keyboard using a screwdriver in the slits at the top. This was the most tricky, it got it loose on the top right and then pulled it while sequentially from right to left unlocking the locking mechanisms with a screwdriver in the slits with a levering top-down movement. After turning the keyboard its connector could be removed after flipping the grey locking bar open upward. Now the wifi card was reached. Finally removing the antenna connectors by careful upward lifting with a screwdriver and one more screw. Then reverse the procedure after replacing the wifi card. Make sure you ground yourself and have your data backed up.
Hopefully this is helpful for you!
Hi!
I hope that someone can help me with a problem I have at the moment.
I have a NUC DC3217IYE with the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 mounted, giving Bluetooth connectivity (and W-LAN).
I then bought a pair of Creative Wireless T12 speakers with Bluetooth capability to be able to get any sound out from the NUC.
I fail miserably.
The OS I am running is Windows 7-64bit Ultimate.
The state I have reached now is that the speakers have been identified by the NUC, but Windows insist that I should install a driver for this device (also stating that "The driver for Bluetooth Peripheral Device is not installed. Install the latest driver for the device.").
When googling the Internet I have come to the understanding that there are no drivers for these speakers. They support A2DP.
The first question is that if the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 supports A2DP or not? If it does, then what do I have to do for this setup to work? I have rebooted the device after connecting the speakers, but there are still no connection establisheCreatid from the NUC to the speakers. The speakers themselves work when I use an iPhone to connect to them, so it seems to be a matter of which protocol the NUCs Bluetooth adapter is handling.
It would be sad if I would have to buy a separate USB-dongle just for this, but what other options are there?
Please advice, I am thankful for any help offered.
Hi everyone,
I built a new computer :
Intel DX79TO
Intel core i7-3930K
4 x 8 GB Corsair Vengeance LP CML32GX3M4A1600C10 (1600MHz 10-10-10-27 1,50V 32 GB kit)
MSI Geforce GTX 660
PSU Corsair CX600
When I use three ram sticks in dimm 1, 2 and 3 or 4 to get 24 GB everything works fine. As soon as I use the four ram sticks (dimm 1,2,3,4) the system makes two unsuccessful boot attempts (few second then shutdown) and gets stuck on third attempt with memory error three long beeps, red led "high voltage in cpu circuits" blinking and code b9. I managed to boot few times successful on 32 GB by hitting the reset button, then the system works fine, even can restart, but on cold boot the error appears again.
Updated bios to latest version 0590. I tested each ram stick individually in dimm 1 with no error. Tested bios defaults and Xmp profile. Tested clear cmos. Tested swapping ram sticks, don't seams to be related to one specific dimm slot. I unmounted and remounted cpu to see if the socket pins or heat sink mounting were fine and no changes.
So i don't now if there is some faulty ram or motherboard or if this is a compatibility issue. Right now i could stay with system running fine on 24 GB but i need more memory on heavy 3D renderings, even planning to upgrade.
Thank you for feedback
